Middle School Curriculum

At the middle school grade levels, students will develop their art skills further, learning the Elements of Art and Principles of Design through projects that promote artistic purpose and greater understanding. Using more advanced techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, and collage, budding artists will learn to analyze the construction and expression of an artwork.

Classes and Project Examples

The curriculum for middle school students is designed to integrate the arts and academic learning, improving their observational skills, and will teach students to recognize possibilities.
