To apply for classes at the smART Room Studio, please complete and submit our digital application. In addition to the official application, students must complete and submit a drawing evaluation prior to starting classes. For any questions about the application process, please contact us directly.
The Application and Enrollment Process
- Submit Digital Application Form
To express your interest in the art classes, please submit our application form. For all applications, there is a one-time, non-refundable application fee of $5, which can be submitted via cash, check or PayPal. The application fee will be collected after the application is received.
2. Receive Confirmation Email + Arrange Call
Once your application is received, you will get an email to arrange an introductory phone call. During this call, parents may ask questions, inquire about start dates, and share information about their child's experience with the arts. On this call, many applicants schedule in-person studio tours, which may also be held over Zoom, if preferred.
3. Get Studio Tour
By visiting our studio, parents can see the environment where their children will create. As to comply with COVID-19 standards and best practices, we also offer virtual tours over Zoom. During this tour, parents are able to ask questions about our curriculum and see samples of previous student artwork and projects. At this time, the application fee will also be collected.
4. Submit Drawing Evaluation
To officially enroll in our art classes, students must complete a drawing evaluation. This drawing evaluation is not a test, but an opportunity for Bonnie to assess and plan lessons that will match your child's current level of learning. Bonnie will provide the drawing evaluation during the studio tour or by email.
5. Officially Enroll
Once we receive the drawing evaluation, a student will be assigned to a class. Before attending their first class, students will need to complete our COVID agreement and provide their first month payment. Our rates are currently $75 per month, per student. Sibling discounts are available.
