Homeschool Art Classes

Most of our students are homeschooled and use our art classes to explore their passion for art, to develop new skills, or to fulfill their required academic electives. At the smART Room Studio, we offer classes for students in elementary, middle, and high school. Our curriculum levels advance with your student’s artistic growth.

Class Details

Weekly Lessons

Our art classes are held once a week for one hour. The programs run from the end of August to the end of May, a full academic year.

Private Studio

The K-12 art lessons take place in a private home studio in Cary, North Carolina. To learn about our COVID-19 best practices, visit our COVID page.

Small Class Sizes

Each of the classes has a maximum of five students placed by age and ability.

No Contracts

The art classes are $65 a month with no contracts. It's important to note that art is taught as a process, and projects may take 4+ classes at the rate of one class per week to complete. To have your student experience the classes fully, regular attendance is beneficial.

*For families, sibling discounts are available.

Grades & Progress Reports

The smART Room Studio can provide grades and progress reports for transcripts by request. Parents can also visit the studio before and after classes for check-ins.

Art Supplies Included

All supplies, such as brushes, paint, pencils, and more are included in the monthly fee. Supplies will be kept at the studio, as well as unfinished student work.
