For kids, teens, and adults with specific interests and goals in visual art, Bonnie offers private art lessons. These lessons include individual attention, guidance, and feedback, helping students to comfortably advance their skills and build their confidence.

Teen Portfolio Development
In private one-on-one sessions, teens can obtain feedback on their portfolio and create new pieces to demonstrate their skills and confidence in art.
One-on-One
Art Lessons
Private, one-on-one art lessons are available for children, teens, and adults. In these classes, students get individualized projects designed to strengthen their abilities in their chosen mediums.
Summer
Camps
Every summer, group art classes are available during the day. The curriculum and schedules for summer camps will change by year. The 2021 schedule will be available in early Spring of 2021. Interested parties may inquire directly.
About Our Private Lessons
Schedule
The private lessons at the smART Room Studio run year-round, and class schedule depends on availability. For kids, there are often available slots during the day, during traditional school hours. For adults, private classes are typically held in the evening.
Curriculum
As our private lessons are customized to the individual, every curriculum will be different. Once you speak with Bonnie about your learning goals, the projects and topics included within your private classes will be based on age, experience, preferred medium, and creative goals.
Pricing
Currently, the rate for our private lessons start at $30/hr. As the curricula are customized to fit your needs, we recommend inquiring further to receive a quote.
Materials
The professional-grade materials used in our art classes are chosen based on their quality. All materials for private classes are included.
Summer Lessons
If you plan to take private classes in the summer, please inquire as soon as you can. Whether you're planning to enroll immediately or in a few months, we can begin to discuss your curriculum and schedule.
COVID-19 Precautions
We currently offer our private kids and adult classes in-person or via virtual session, based on your preference. Anyone that enrolls in a private lesson and plans to work in-person must review and agree to our COVID-19 waiver.
As of February 2020, our art classes are following COVID best practices. For the foreseeable future, students may choose to either attend class in-person or attend remotely on Zoom.
